The first makeinternetfair petition, which was handed to the European Commission in 2016, resulted in the Commission putting forward a balanced legislation on copyright. That petition was signed by about 22,500 creators.

We are delighted to announce that, with still over a month until we hand this new petition to the European Parliament, we have reached the same number of signatories and the number is still increasing.
